E-LEAD – Ethical Leadership in Higher Education in the Digital Era focuses on strengthening ethical and responsible leadership within universities as they adapt to rapid digital transformation. The project aims to support higher education institutions in developing governance and management models based on transparency, inclusion, and digital ethics.
Through collaborative research, capacity-building, and training, E-LEAD promotes ethical decision-making and the responsible use of digital technologies in academic and administrative contexts.
The consortium brings together universities and organizations from France, Portugal, Greece, Italy, and Germany, combining expertise in ethics, innovation, and higher education management to build a sustainable European framework for ethical leadership in the digital era.
The main objectives of the project are to:
- Strengthen ethical leadership and governance in higher education institutions.
- Promote the ethical and responsible use of digital technologies in academic environments.
- Build the capacity of university staff and leaders to manage digital transformation effectively and ethically.
- Develop training materials and open educational resources on ethics and leadership in the digital era.
- Foster cooperation among European universities to share good practices in ethical and digital governance.
