Description

The CaregIVR project is a pioneering initiative designed to support informal caregivers and vulnerable groups in managing cardiovascular health, particularly post-stroke patient care.

Objectives

Employing immersive virtual reality (IVR) technology, the project aims to enhance caregivers’ knowledge and proficiency in managing cardiovascular diseases, improving the quality of care they provide.

The innovative approach involves creating realistic simulations in which caregivers experience the challenges faced by those needing care.

By integrating immersive virtual reality into caregiver training programs, CaregIVR seeks to mitigate caregiver stress, elevate the standard of patient care, and promote healthier lifestyles for caregivers and care recipients.
